For any of my friends that have been in my kitchen and used my chef knives know that I like to keep them sharp. Some of my friends have even cut themselves on my sharp knives (sorry Kate). When my dad isn’t here to sharpen them then next best thing is to have them professionally sharpened. The Cook’s Warehouse offers professional knife sharpening services at affordable prices (ranging from $4.50 to $6.00 each depending on the length and type of kitchen knife). Drop your knives off the day before for the next day’s service. The Cook’s Warehouse on-site service days: Brookhaven: Fridays; Decatur: Wednesdays; Midtown: Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’ve personally used the service and was very pleased. William-Sonoma offers the same type service but at a more expensive per knife rate.
