Holiday Gift Show Gives Back

Joanne Paller has a love for glass which started with her taking a stained glass class one summer between her freshman and sophomore years of college. After over 30 years of mastering glassworks but continuing to learn through fusing glass, melting glass, hot glass classes called lampworking she has developed a unique style with her glass art by designing beautiful holiday glass ornaments, flowers, jewelry, and window designs.

Her glass birds that come in red, blue, green or yellow as well as her other glass holiday ornaments will be available at the Holiday Gift Show at the Smyrna First United Methodist Church at 1315 Concord Rd. in Smyrna, Ga. In addition to Joanne’s beautiful glass ornaments other artists exhibiting fine art, crafts, gifts, and accessories will be displayed in gift shop setting. The show is Wednesday, November 12 through Saturday, November 15 in conjunction with Hands-on-Christmas with a percentage of all purchases benefiting the Children’s Ministries. Hours are Wednesday, Nov. 11 (5-9 p.m.)¸Thursday, Nov. 12 (10 a.m.–7 p.m.), Friday, Nov. 13 (10 a.m.–9 p.m.), and Saturday, Nov. 14 (10 a.m.–3 p.m.).
