Athena’s Warehouse is an Atlanta-based non-profit group that provides low-income high school girls with prom dresses. Their goal is to show girls that women can empower each other through personal support and public service.
On March, 12, 2010 you can participate in their prom-themed fundraiser, Head Over Heels, at Studioplex Lofts from 8:00 p.m. – midnight. It’s a night of cocktails, dancing and prizes including gift certificates from their various restaurant sponsors. Tickets are available in advance for a donation of $15 or at the door for a $20 donation. All proceeds will go toward dry cleaning and/or purchasing prom attire for low-income high school girls. In exchange for a dress, the girls volunteer their time to Project Open Hand.
Tickets are available through Athena’s Warehouse’s blog. Click here to e-mail Bee Nguyen for more information.
Athena’s Warehouse also collects cocktail dresses that are in good condition year round at their donation site at Sanctuary Real Estate, Inman Park, 300 N. Highland Ave, Suite B, Atlanta, GA 30307, M-F; 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend the event, but can I donate dresses to the girls?
