Travelocity’s Roaming Gnome Tours Savannah May 18-19 »

A recent bride and groom celebrated with friends and guests the morning after their destination wedding with a brunch reception that included an array of “small bites” with a guest favorite of mini BLT sandwiches, but the highlight of the party was couple’s creatively designed and planned bloody mary bar.

The bar included both the typical and more familiar ingredients commonly used to make a bloody mary but they spiced it up a notch with the addition of items like infused vodkas and garnish favorites like crispy bacon and bacon salt. Guests were able to make their own creations or were assisted by two bartenders. The bloody mary bar concoctions generated excitement and guest interaction with guests sharing their personal recipes.

The bride shared with me that it takes a minimal amount of prep work with the selected items organized and displayed creatively. The only thing she’d do differently next time would be to include even more infused-vodkas including a bacon-infused vodka which are very popular now.

Here’s all the brunch selections used but choose as many or all the ingredients needed to spice up your party with a Bloody Mary bar:
