• Stories are posted DAILY except weekends and holidays in the categories of Food, Restaurants, Travel, For Your Home, Shopping and Just for Fun. That’s over 235 stories to date.
• All stories are archived on the site for easy reader reference in the above categories and there’s also a handy Search box to find previous stories.
• The site had four featured writers over the last year and I’ve realized that my readers do enjoy hearing from other people besides myself so this will increase in year two.
• With a Southern Twist is on Facebook at and currently has a milestone of 125 great fans. Keep ‘em coming.
• With a Southern Twist is on Twitter at which also has a direct feed to the home page of the site. I tweet on subjects that complement the categories of stories featured on the site.

Over the course of July we’ll be celebrating our first year of publication. Enjoy your Memorial Day. In remembrance of this day, I would like to thank all the men and women that have served our country so we can have and enjoy the freedoms we have today. Since I come from a military family I’d like to especially thank my dad (retired Navy who served 22 year including a stint outside of Vietnam), my Uncle Jerry (ex-Marine who was called to Vietnam) and my maternal grandfather (who served in the Army during the Korean War).
