If you’re looking for anything from fresh tomatoes to locally prepared jams, to fresh flowers—that were more than likely cut that morning—then you need to check out the Peachtree Road Farmers Market in the parking lot of the Cathedral of St. Philip on Peachtree Street on Saturdays. It’s an open air venue where Southeastern small sustainable farmers and growers, regional producers and purveyors of traditional foods, and local craftspeople market their products to those of you living in Atlanta.

This “big city” farmers’ market has a home-grown, small town feel offering naturally grown produce, fresh eggs, local meats, award-winning cheeses, jam, jellies and honey, artisan breads, fresh pasta, prepared foods, herbal soaps, garden plants, flowers, locally roasted coffee, and local crafts. Every Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (2010 Season: April 10 – December 18). www.peachtreeroadfarmersmarket.com
