Well it’s hard to believe that the summer of 2009 has come and gone. I have a lot of exciting stories planned as we moved into the fall season–with the holidays, shopping, entertaining, cooking and more. But to celebrate the summer that has come and gone, I thought I’d share my favorite fruit smoothie recipe with you. It’s very easy to make and will be enjoyed but all–especially all you cherry lovers.
1 – 6 oz. Dannon Light & Fit cherry nonfat yogurt
1 banana (broken up into pieces)
1 cup frozen cherries
1 cup cran-cherry juice (I like Ocean Spray’s)
1 tablespoon honey
1 to 1-½ cups ice cubes
Add all ingredients into blender and then add ice and blend to desire consistency. Pour into glasses, add ‘flexy’ straw and enjoy. Serves 2.
