Sweetwater Brewery is an Atlanta-based microbrewery that specializes in producing West Coast-styled beers for the Southeast. Their award-winning brews include the ever-popular 420 Extra Pale Ale, a highly excellent IPA and a hot afternoon favorite — Sweetwater Blue. To enjoy a relaxing evening of beer sipping and live music, stop by the brewery Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. for brewery tours and tastings. Just $8.00 gets you a souvenir pint glass and six drink tickets (each good for a fairly generous half a pint of beer). Also, Sweetwater puts on some pretty fantastic events, including the upcoming annual Sweetwater 420 Festival in Candler Park on Saturday, April 17 and Sunday, April 18, 2010. This two-day music and arts festival is filled with a great lineup of live music, art, food and activities.
