Pets to Park for Adoption

Seven adorable shepherd mix puppies from the AHS, named after the seven drawfs, that need to be adopted.

Three of Atlanta’s most recognizable names are joining forces for Pets in the Park, an effort to match homeless pets with new families. Every Saturday from August 14 – September 11, the Atlanta Humane Society (AHS) will set up their mobile adoption bus at Park Tavern, on the corner of Monroe and 10th Street on Piedmont Park, and bring pets right to a perfect park setting for adoption. The mobile adoption bus will carry plenty of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens who are looking for their new homes. Every person that visits the mobile bus and spends time with an animal of their choice will receive two free tour passes to SweetWater Brewery, which may be used on any Saturday tour. And you don’t have to adopt a pet to earn a pass. Then as soon as you adopt a pet you can introduce it to the Piedmont Park’s newly renovated off-leash dog park.

December is a three-month old Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix that needs to be adopted.
