Frame It

Take some of your favorite pieces of art whether it’s your favorite kindergartener’s masterpiece, some of your grandmother collectibles, or original works of art to a professional framer (sorry guys, Michaels doesn’t count) and use their expect service to turn anything you have into an exception work of art. If you live in Atlanta, Ga. then try a gallery/frame shop combo like Vinings Gallery in Smyrna, Ga.

An original pastel by my sister reframed with a suede and accenting mat and a distressed antique-type wood frame to match wallpaper.

Frame two smaller photos together with plenty of white space (mat) and a complementing frame. Art at the St. Regis Atlanta

Two of my grandmother's plates framed in an open shadow box-type frame

Reproduction coastal prints in custom bamboo-type frames from Interiors Market on Bennett Street

I typically like painted canvas originals unframed but this piece needed a frame to enhance its beauty. This piece was inset still exposing the painted edges.
