Rose Hip Harvest Arrangement

This simply, beautiful floral arrangement inspired me for my Thanksgiving table. Several of these bouquets accented a staircase entrance to a wedding reception. I found beautiful rose hip and seeded eucalyptus at the floral department at A Southern Season in Chapel Hill, N.C. I decided to accent my arrangement with yellow accents so I’ll be including yellow yarrow and astor solidago.

Hot Skwash Velvet Pumpkins

While searching for something fabulous for my Thanksgiving tablescape and not wanting to settle for the typical paper leaves and pop-up turkeys, I stumbled upon these gorgeous velvet pumpkins with real pumpkin and squash stems called Hot Skwash at Artesana, a home specialty store in Pensacola, Fla. I had to investigate the designer behind these beauties.
